This season, all volunteers are encouraged to attend CORE and Frontline training. CORE training is an orientation to policies and fundraising.
Frontline training is customer service, concessions, and alcohol services
and safety. Brian and
at least one other volunteer are required to attend manager training and supplemental training. If you are interested
in being a manager, contact Brian for more information. All training is free
of charge, classes last 1-2 hours and CORE and Frontline training run through the end of August. To sign up for CORE, Frontline, manager or supplemental training, email Lori M Heublein
and the subject should be "Training for a Greenfield Central Band Booster".
Each volunteer will earn a minimum $50.00 per event for their student's account.
Minimum age to work is 16 years old. No one can sell alcoholic beverages unless 21 year or older. The dress code is plain back pants,
ankle length and no rips, etc. Shoes must be dark colored and closed toe with dark socks.
Click here to view, print and
sign the volunteer agreement form and turn them into Brian prior to working
your first event. Before our first event, for those who would like to serve alcohol, we will setup a time to
drop-off alcohol license paperwork and money for the group and one person
will submit it.
Each person is responsible, for the cost, of their alcohol license and is
required to attend TIPS
training.
Keep in mind that it takes up to a month, after an event, for us to be paid. When you work a game, your account won't be credited
until we receive payment from Center Plate (The company that runs concessions).
Contact Brian Burkhardt with questions
and provide him your contact information.
We're offering the second annual Collectible Cougar Basket to benefit the G-CHS band!
These beautiful baskets in the school colors come with a brass tag
identifying them as part of the Greenfield-Central Collector Series. Basket
with tag, cloth liner and plastic protector:
$35.00 that's $5.00 off the normal $40.00
Compared to a similar Longaberger basket (outside the Collector Series and without school
colors), you'll save money!
Print or display the
order form
for more information and how to contact Dianne with questions. Send the
order form and your check payable to G-C Band Boosters to:
PO Box 834
Greenfield, IN 46140
(Be sure to put "basket" in the memo line on your check)
These will make great graduation gifts, too.
Scrip
Cards
We now accept payment through PayPal, so go to the "Pay Fees /
Donate" Page. Remember, the PayPal fees are still passed along to you,
so make sure IT IS WORTH IT!! Calculate the PayPal fee, be sure to compare it
with the rebate you'll earn from SCRIP. For smaller amounts, the PayPal fee
may exceed the rebate, and so you'll want to pay with a check or use PrestoPay
on the SCRIP site.
